A beefy sound that mixes US punk à la The Stooges and earthy Brit rock…a mix of dirty bluegrass instrumentals, killer riffs & a sing-along vibe that smacked of early Primal Scream. Eat your heart out Ryan Adams”

Following
the punch his single ‘King Of The World’ delivered at the end of 2012, KAV is collaborating with Canadian fashion icon Zombie Boy (AKA Rico The Zombie) on his next single, set for release on May 21.  The pair have been collaborating on a ZOMBIE BOY album project together in LA since the start of the year.

Zombie Boy is one of the more popular 'unique' international male fashion figures (GQ, Vanity Fair, Vogue) in the world. Currently the face of Jay Z’s clothing Line Rocawear in Europe, the face of L’Oreal Derma-blend & is probably best known for collaborating with Lady Gaga on her ‘Born This Way’ video.

KAV, who’s been compared from everyone from The Stones to The Stooges, looks to take 2013 by storm with his new single, in the lead up to his incredible debut album.

‘Dirty Rejects’ was recorded in LA with production by Josh Ostrander from LA band 'Eastern Conference Champions', mixed by Jesse Rogg (Sam Sparro/ OK GO) and mastered by Stephen Marcussen (The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Johnny Cash, Nirvana, Primal Scream & The Black Crowes).

The single comes in the wake of a busy year of touring for KAV, with highlights including supporting Kasabian & Band Of Skulls at Brixton Academy as well as headlining Club NME @ KOKO London. He played several shows for BT London Live / Livenation's Olympic festival in Hyde Park. He also supported The Farm & The Justice Band feat Mick Jones (The Clash) & John Power (The LA’s) at The Islington Academy.

KAV also had a stint playing guitar for British Band Happy Mondays – from 2004-2007 – writing & recording with Shaun Ryder.
