Rene Huemer

1977 - the year of the snake and my first visual experience.

But before i was able to recognize what also could be done with light, many years and countless draggy jobs had to pass before i found my passion within the fields of photography.

The fact that it is possible to capture the split of a second in order to make it last way longer than it was supposed to, is a fascination impossible to describe.

The art i chose helps me to slow down life, to work with the beauty of light, to meet interesting people from all over the world and to picture amazing places i visit.

This is my way of sharing feelings and impressions of certain moments.

I hope you like what you see here and keep coming back.

Josef

Josef Jasso

A visionary photographer, Josef Jasso is a new rising artist in innovative fashion photography. An experienced photographer having shot for several well known celebrity clients, recognized fashion brands, magazine publications and art galleries. The images he creates are beyond simple portraiture, they are bold alluring statements pieces. The content of Josef Jasso's images range from highly structured and momentous to vibrant and light hearted, but ALWAYS stylistic. Currently Josef is working on images for his first coffee table book of published works in Hollywood, California.

About the shoot with Zombie Boy:

The collaboration of images with Josef Jasso and Rick Genest were shot both in New York City and Los Angeles the beginning of this year. Working with Rick was an exciting experience. Its rare to come across a model such as Rick. He is known for his tattooed aesthetic of course, but it is also his energy that is just as electric. When we were capturing these images he was constantly in motion, constantly creating new angles, facial expressions and giving such a range. As a photographer it is refreshing to see someone come alive like that when working, He is a Rockstar! Often I am the one that has to be directing the model and in this case it was just me capturing that moment that Rick would create. Working with Zombie Boy was most definitely a memorable experience and the images we created are some of my favorite.

Savon

SAVON

Born in 1988 from a middle class family in the suburbs of Montreal, Kenny Pilcrow (also known as SAVON), loves colours and tones, provocation and reaction.

He's constantly sourcing inspiration through the exploration of multiple media such as: spray paint ; ink ; marker ; makeup and jewelry.

On his 18th birthday, his father offered him a digital camera upon discovering the interest he had in the lens, without suspecting (none the wiser) that this could be a life changing event. Later, stepping forward in the digital world, he learnt about computer graphics, photography and scenographic display ((VJ)).

SAVON scouted the underground of his native city to feel, see and capture the most intense, yet beautiful moments and displays of emotion available to sight.

Seven years and 800 000 clicks later, SAVON is now a growing artist reflecting through his work his intuitive feel for lights and colours.
